This hotel is on one of Marrakech`s main streets opposite the Royal Theatre and close to the historical Jemaa El Fna square, the Koutoubia minaret, the attractive garden of Agdal, and the congress palace. The Ryad Mogador Opera Hotel, although modern has a traditional Moroccan style. There are 106 rooms spread across 5 floors, and this is the second hotel of its type not to serve alcohol in Marrakech. There are plenty of souks where you can pick up a bargain, or relax with a mint tea in a pavement cafe. The city is a maze of palaces, museums, mosques, markets and alleyways and the main square comes alive at night with dancers, snake charmers, acrobats, musicians and fortune tellers.
