If you’re after something a little off the beaten track, you’ll strike gold with this place. A semi-detached, restored stone farmhouse nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, it counts sweeping views and a rural location among its top credentials.

Head inside, and the set-up is traditional and cosy. Cue terracotta-tiled flooring, wooden-beamed ceilings and dark-wood furnishings. In the living-come-dining room, expect simple whitewashed walls and homely touches in the form of china plates and paintings. You’ll also find a TV and a sofa in here, as well as a fireplace and a dining table. 

You've also got a kitchen area offering up all the essentials, such as a microwave, a fridge-freezer and a gas hob. Speaking of cooking, you’ve also got a great space for lazy al fresco lunches. Head outside, and you’ll come across the cottage’s star turn – a beautiful vine-covered pergola complete with a barbecue.

In terms of things to do here, there’s a swimming pool that you’ll share with the residents staying in the nearby buildings. It’s a good size and is flanked by loungers and parasols. Plus, because the terrace it sits in is slightly raised, it’s a great spot for soaking up the views of the countryside.
