With great sea views and a sandy beach on the doorstep, the Porto Bay Falesia in Olhos d’Agua has a fantastic setting in the Algarve.

The Porto Bay Falesia provides fantastic views. Its clifftop location means its gardens look straight out to sea, with the panoramas broken only by pine trees. Plus, steps lead down to Praia da Falesia Beach, where the sands stretch for eight kilometres.

The hotel’s main bar makes the most of the setting. Perched on the cliff edge, it’s a perfect spot for gazing over the sandstone rock formations and sea beyond. And as for the rest of the culinary line-up, you’ve got two restaurants – a smart buffet number and Il Basilico, which serves modern takes on classic Italian cuisine.

Outside, the pool is framed by terraces and pines. You’ll find sunloungers placed in the best viewpoints around the lawns, as well.

Another plus point of this place is the location. Although the hotel is in a peaceful spot, it’s just a five-minute walk from the restaurants and shops at Olhos d’Agua.
