Luxurious market surroundings, top-quality dining and terrific service come together as one here.

Sculpted into a rocky outcrop right above the long golden sweep of Jandia beach, this hotel is in a plum spot. With the beach so close there’s naturally lots of watersports opportunities here. And just a short stroll takes you to the fishing village of Morro Jable where you can watch local fishermen bring in the day’s catch.

At the hotel itself, you’ll be hooked from the moment you step inside the cavernous, balconied lobby. And even more so when you gaze out at the swimming pool pulled right up against the main building. From there, the view just keeps getting better. Beyond the sun terraces, the beach stretches for miles.

Elsewhere, the bedrooms offset pale gold décor with dark blue carpets and sofas. Plus you get a balcony or terrace.

Generous buffet breakfasts come with on-the-spot cooking and an optional glass of sparkling wine. At dinner the buffets are on a similar lavish scale. There’s a theme restaurant, too.
