Cool and pristine, Villa Ca Na Francisca is both tasteful and welcoming. Inside, the living area is open plan, with Mallorquín ceramics, agricultural artifacts and French windows opening onto the patio. A breakfast bar, meanwhile, separates the well-equipped kitchen from the rest of the living area. Bedrooms are uncluttered and comfortable, with a particularly nice double that features French windows – again opening onto the patio. And there are two bathrooms, too, the larger of which has a bath as well as a separate shower.
Immediately outside, a long, partially-covered terrace runs the length of the villa. With a barbecue and a ceramic-topped dining table overlooking the swimming pool, it’s a sheltered spot for outdoor meals. And as well as the immaculate lawn, with sunbeds and lots of space to relax, there’s a pretty rock garden with a fountain.
Elsewhere, there’s a real sense of being deep in the countryside at Ca Na Francisca with sheep and goats for company in the neighbouring field. But you’re not isolated either, as just a short drive away you’ve got a choice of beaches and restaurants at Puerto Pollensa. Or there’s the cobbled streets and boutiques of Pollensa’s old town.
