Set at the top of a steep hill, this whitewashed, property prides itself on offering some of the best views in Lagos. To really take advantage of them, request a room with a rooftop terrace – you’ll be able to look out over the sea and the harbour whenever you like.
Talking of the rooms, they’ve all been individually styled. So while one might come with banana-yellow walls and floral soft furnishings, another will be decked out navy and cream. They all have good-sized lounges, as well as kitchenettes kitted out with fridges, hobs and microwaves. Meanwhile, air-conditioning and satellite TVs come as standard.
Outside, the swimming pool is the ideal relaxation zone. Its surrounding terrace is lined with sunloungers, and comes complete with a whirlpool bath.
As for location, the hotel is right in the thick of things. A steep and narrow cobbled lane leads you to the centre of Lagos – about a ten-minute walk away – where you’ll find shops, restaurants and bars. Plus the beach is just down the road.
