Facilities at the hotel include an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace, entertainment (live jazz music twice a week), gym/fitness centre (local charge), Internet facilities (local charge),  Jacuzzi (local charge), laundry service (local charge ), sauna, bar, and restaurant. The restaurant serves drinks and a varied menu of continental, Chinese and Goan food. The 24-hour reception offers a money exchange facility, safety deposit boxes (payable locally) and an international public telephone.

Alegria de Goa sits between the golden sands of Candolim Beach and the lively and busy Candolim resort centre. The hotel is a short walk (200m) to Candolim Beach with its gently sloping golden sands, an ideal spot for sunbathing. Water sports including windsurfing, jet skis, a banana boat and ringos are normally available on the beach. 200m in the opposite direction is the lively resort centre where there are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, cafés and nightclubs to choose from. A regular bus service runs outside the property to Panjim and Calangute. Transfer time from Dabolim Airport is approx.1 hour 15 minutes.

The guest rooms come with twin beds and very spacious, light and well maintained with a living area. All rooms have an en suite bathroom with shower and WC, air-conditioning (local charge), ceiling fans, satellite TV, telephone, fridge, and a balcony or terrace overlooking the pool. Cots for infants are available on request.
