With its colourful, character-filled grounds and special themed rooms, Disney's Art of Animation Resort will make you feel like you've stepped into the movies

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort has been designed with 4 movies in mind – Disney's The Lion King and The Little Mermaid, and Disney Pixar's Finding Nemo and Cars. As such, you can look forward to special themed rooms and rainbow-coloured grounds – look out for oversized character models like Timon and Pumbaa, and a 35-foot-tall King Triton.

Four themed courtyards share space in the middle of the grounds – one for each of the films. The Cars, Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo sections come with swimming pools, and the latter has a pool bar that serves up snacks and drinks. As for the Lion King zone, it plays host to the children’s Boneyard Playground. Little ones will love the water play areas, as well, which are freckled throughout the resort.

Elsewhere, there's a Pixel Play Arcade for high-tech video games, and a food court for meals and light bites.

Themed family suite sleeps up to 6 with 3 separate sleeping areas in the living space with a master bedroom, a queen-size sofa-bed and an 'Inovabed' - a generously sized dining/work table that easily transforms into a comfortable bed - and 2 bathrooms. Suites are located in the Finding Nemo, Cars and Lion King buildings.
All rooms have cable TV with Disney programmes, hairdryer, iron/board, mini-fridge and free Wi-Fi.
