Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort details
With its ice-cream-coloured buildings and palm-fringed beach, this good-looking hotel really lives up to its name.
From the minute you set eyes on this place you’ll feel like you’ve left Orlando and been transported 500 miles further south. Pretty colonial-style buildings dressed in shades of pink and blue are set against a lush backdrop of towering palms and manicured lawns. And winding pathways lead down to a Caribbean-esque beach surrounding a huge lake. The whole place is split into six separate villages, each of which has been named after a different Caribbean island. And whichever one you stay in, you’ll never be far from one of the hotel’s seven swimming pools.
When it comes to eating and drinking, meanwhile, the main restaurant serves up American favourites with a Caribbean twist. As for the rooms, they’re everything you’d expect from a Disney hotel – spacious, comfortable and well-dressed. Last but not least, stay here and you get free transport to and from all the Disney Parks – which means the likes of Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT are within easy reach.
