The recently-refurbished Hotel Admiral puts all of Sorrento’s attractions within easy reach.
The Hotel Admiral has got its location spot on. It’s right on the seafront in the Marina Grande part of town, so you get views of the bay and Mount Vesuvius from all over the hotel. At the same time, though, it’s only a 30-minute stroll to Piazza Tasso, for when you’d rather see townscapes than coastal scenery.
Looks-wise, the hotel has just had a makeover. Bedrooms now follow one of 3 chic colour schemes – lipstick red, ice white or brushed silver.
Outside, meanwhile, you’ll find a swimming pool, surrounded by a sun-trap terrace. The whole area looks out over the sea. There’s a snack bar here, too, where the menu goes beyond standards like sandwiches to offer colourful salads and seafood.
There’s also a lobby bar, serving up made-to-order cocktails and more Kodak-worthy vistas - head here at sunset for the best views.
