Hotel Minerva details
For authentic Sorrento with a modern edge, it’s got to be the Hotel Minerva.
The Minerva Hotel is about views, views and more views. The hotel looks out over the Bay of Naples, the Grand Marina, and Mount Vesuvius in the distance.
You’ll get some of the best vistas while you’re swimming in the pool, sunbathing on the loungers on the spacious sun terrace, or stewing in the whirlpool bath.
The panorama continues in the restaurant, where the tables sidle up to huge arched windows. When the weather’s warm, the menu of Mediterranean classics is also served on a pretty outdoor terrace.
It’s not just the scenery that’s good looking here. The hotel is pretty easy on the eyes, too. This 19th-century property has been renovated in recent years, but it’s still managed to retain its traditional charm. Cue stone walls, red window shutters and wrought-iron balconies.
