Perched on a hill, you have views from The Savoy Gardens which are hard to beat. The swimming pool is surrounded by a sun terrace, which offers up bird’s-eye views of Funchal. Then there’s the Panorama Terrace on the hotel roof, where you can watch the sunset from the whirlpool bath.

The property itself looks like it’s been pulled from the pages of a fashion magazine. The lobby is sleekly decorated with unique paintings, and the bedrooms are elegantly styled with a modern touch.

The main restaurant here serves a different themed buffet every night. Alternatively, if you want a more intimate meal, you can pay to dine in the restaurant’s à la carte section, or visit the à la carte eatery at the Royal Savoy Hotel.

Lastly, there’s the Magnolia Lounge, where the bar staff will personalise cocktails for you. Or, you can enjoy a quiet drink at the Cica bar or on the Panorama Terrace.

Double rooms sleep up to 2 with a double bed, air-conditioning/heating, interactive flat-screen, cable TV with video on-demand, phone, minibar, tea and coffee facilities on arrival and hairdryer. Double rooms have a mountain inland view and some have a balcony. Balconies on the higher floors are Juliette style.

We also offer Sea-view rooms, Junior suites and Suites.

Double rooms with a sea view are larger than double rooms to sleep up to 3 adults with facilties as per Double rooms plus a sofa-bed and a mountain/inland view. From May 2014, maximum occupancy is 2 adults, and no sofa bed

Junior suites are larger rooms with a lounge area, flat-screen TV, and sea views.

Suites have a separate lounge with an extra flat-screen TV, a large balcony with sunloungers and a sea view.
